storytime with kurupt

Kurupt came through both KBMB (Sacramento) and KXJM (Portland) several times during my radio career and I’ve gotten to interview him on multiple occasions. Each time, he always ended up free styling, but one time in particular, he went absolutely apeshit ham on the mic for like 20 minutes straight. I’m talking in and out of a commercial break even! Some of Tha Alkaholiks (J-Ro, E-Swift) were also hanging out with us that night, and then we did the Westcoast Wednesday afterparty at Brannon’s in downtown Sacramento.

I remember standing there in awe as Kurupt just keep rapping. Dope memories.
