storytime with xzibit & Rick rock

X came through the station to promote the Restless album, and you know me and Rick had to show him some Sacramento love! Our homie Brown Hound got X plugged with the good green… We blew some trees and proceeded to have a fantastic night talking about the album, hip hop, our favorite albums, and more!

2 years later, X & Rick went on to make one of my favorite tracks ever, Symphony in X Major, featuring Dr. Dre. I remember being in complete amazement when Rick talked about the session he had working with Dr. Dre on that record! Simply incredible!

X and Rick went on to make many other slappers, including Mutha Fucka, Concentrate, Up Out the Way, and many more!
