chillin with rza

I’ll tell the full story with more details on the podcast, but in a nutshell….

My homie Dee worked with the Rza. Rza was in SF. Dee said you should head up to Sac and meet up with my boy Bootz on the radio. So the RZA, by himself, did.

The intercom buzzes, I answer. “It’s RZA, here to meet up with Bootz.”

Yeah, I was stoked. “Come on up,” I said.

We spent the next few hours on the radio talking hip hop, playing some records, went live into the mix, and had a great time. I played him a bit of our Federation music and he invited me to go grab Gogo, Doon, and Stres and meet up with him in a bit to kick back and talk music.

I hit Gogo up and tell him what we are bout to do. Pick everyone up and head to the Hilton I think. I hit the Rza and we met up. Introduced the Federation to him and then we spent the next few hours talking and listening to music.
