It’s been 25 years since Wyclef dropped his debut solo album, The Carnival. Released on June 24, 1997, this classic album was Wyclef’s first major project since the Fugees dropped the score in February of 1996.

I became a huge Wyclef fan when The Score came out, and I remember being so excited for this solo album to drop. So many great records on it; Guantanemera, Gone Til November, Trying to Stay Alive, and so many more.
